We look forward to welcome you to this first event in the Danish hub of Workplace Evolutionaries (WE DK) in 2022!
The event is online and dedicated to a topic of highly relevance for all Workplace and Facility Managers: Workforce diversity and inclusion!
We are proud to announce, that Angela Johnson Culver is joining us from Georgia, US, and gives a presentation on the topic. Angela’s presentation address trends, strategies and practices for inclusion in all workplaces and specifically in the FM workforce. Inclusion issues of gender, LGBT issues, ability/disability bias, ageism, cultural biases, racial equity, citizenship status and religious tolerance will be discussed.
Angela Johnson Culver, PE, PMP, FMP is the owner of JAR Engineering & Consulting Firm Corp. providing solutions based on industrial engineering principles predominantly in the facility management and engineering industry. She has more than 20 years of experience in facility management across multiple industries including government, military, healthcare, education, corporate and manufacturing. She has supported client FM operations totaling over $2 billion and managed over $3 billion in a variety of facility service contracts for military bases. She holds degrees in Industrial Engineering (B.Sc.) from Clemson University and Business Administration (M.Sc.) from Walden University. Mrs. Culver is a licensed Professional Industrial Engineer and certified Project Manager Professional. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) and Facility Management Professional (FMP).
Her expertise is in implementing and managing facilities’ engineering programs that embrace environments of change, driving innovation through imagination, and exploring ways to challenge the organization to achieve and sustain a competitive advantage. She has led global employee business relationship groups focusing on minorities and women in the Facility Management industry.
She currently serves as a board member for the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Foundation supporting the global initiative of making FM a career of choice as well as an advisory board member for Rowan University’s Construction Management (B.A.) degree program.
